Digitalization processes, external challenges and growing demands for the formation of new competencies have led to the fact that currently such a traditional sphere as education is undergoing a serious transformation both in terms of the teaching methods used and competitive strategies implemented by the subjects of the educational process. One of the most dynamically developing sectors is virtual education, It has grown over the past fifteen years from simple information sites to full-fledged virtual educational systems capable of offering customized educational products to a wide range of users. Despite the relative youth of the virtual education sector and the controversial identification of its borders, sufficient statistical and factual material has already been accumulated, which allows us to assess the level of competition and barriers to entry into this market. Identification of typical competitive entry strategies will allow both to trace the main trends in the development of this market and to assess their prospects in terms of the possibility of application by new players. The purpose of the work is to assess the level of competition in the virtual education market and identify characteristic strategies for entering this market. Based on the data of the EdTech rating and the “List of transactions in the field of virtual education for 2014–2016”, to assess competition and identify the main descriptive strategies. The article deals with the issues of quantitative analysis of the state of competition in the telecommunications services market, the results of which may be of significant interest for antimonopoly regulation, where the task is to determine the degree of development of competition, to identify the facts of the use of anti-competitive strategies by subjects, or other forms of competition restriction. It is promising to use the results of quantitative analysis of competition to study the trajectories of competitive behavior of individual telecommunications companies. The purpose of this article is to conduct a quantitative analysis of the state of competition in the telecommunications services market and identify the features of competitive behavior of companies operating in it. To achieve the goal, the paper proposes a system of indicators for quantitative analysis of competition, which is based on the Russian “Procedure for analyzing the state of competition in the commodity market”, and also takes into account industry-specific features of competition in the field of telecommunications services. Based on the proposed system of indicators, a quantitative assessment of the state of competition in the interregional cellular communications market of the Russian Federation was carried out. It has been established that this segment of the telecommunications market is developing as a rigid oligopoly, the boundaries of which are determined by the market shares of large cellular operators. The competitive environment is formed by significant regional companies, as well as virtual mobile operators, whose influence has increased significantly in recent years. The factor hindering the development of competition in the market is a high concentration, which, along with the presence of significant economic and administrative barriers to entry, makes the market relatively stable and determines the positional nature of competition. The study revealed a trend towards a decrease in the level of concentration and a gradual saturation of the cellular communications market, which in the future may lead to an increase in competitive tension.

Digital business transformation

In the modern world, software development companies face a number of problems, such as an increase in the volume of code, an increase in the number of errors, an increase in the complexity of projects and an increase in requirements for quality and speed of development. To solve these problems, it is necessary to reduce costs, increase team productivity, reduce time for testing and debugging code, as well as improve the quality of their products, i. e. achieve competitive advantages by improving project management systems and communication in the team. The article used experimental research, namely conducting experiments to compare the effectiveness of work and communication of teams using mobile programming within Kanban with teams not using this this methodology. The analytical method of research, comparative analysis (to highlight the advantages and disadvantages of the Mob Programming approach), the tabular method of providing information, for greater clarity, interviewing was also used.

Discussion club

The paper continues the discussion of the problem “The significance of A. A. Bogdanov’s tectology for modern systems theory and its applications”, posed in the report of G. B. Kleiner “A new look at the socio-economic space: A. Bogdanov’s organizational and managerial model” at the XXVI International scientific-practical conference “System Analysis in Design and Management”. The article is devoted to the study of the conditions for the implementation of the “consciously comradely” principles of the organizational and managerial model of A. Bogdanov. Difficulties in the implementation of “consciously comradely” principles in a modern society with a diversified economy are discussed. A model of the system is presented that is applicable for modeling organizational management of any degree of generality in space and time. The projection of the spatial model on the time axis allows using the past for a more complete analysis of the current state of the system and predicting its future. It is emphasized that in the idea of “conscious cooperation” the determining link is a person, his personal qualities. The obstacles in the upbringing of a socially oriented personality are discussed. The predominance of the animal nature in man during critical periods of the development of society is indicated. The problems of educating a harmonious personality and the factors preventing this are discussed. The disadvantages of domestic education include uncritical borrowing of the current knowledge of the world community without taking into account their historicism, which affects the loss of national identity and originality of national development. Another disadvantage is the narrow specialization of workers, which does not contribute to the development of complex systems thinking. The conditions for the emergence of comradely relations in the labor collective are listed. An opinion is expressed about their low dependence on the structure of the economy and finiteness in time.
