The purpose of the “Journal of Modern Competition" is to consolidate the scientific and educational community on the platform of developing modern theories of competition and entrepreneurship, rooting professional approaches to the practice of professional entrepreneurship in a competitive environment and to teaching entrepreneurship to young people Journal tasks: .

- implementation of the above-mentioned objectives of the journal through the maintenance of headings integrated around the issues of competition of subjects of micro- and macroeconomics, competitiveness, the evolution of modern professional entrepreneurship, state antimonopoly and entrepreneurial policy, training in doing business at a competitive level in programs of higher and secondary vocational, as well as additional education

- providing an opportunity for researchers, experienced and novice researchers, teachers, as well as representatives of business circles and government authorities to freely express opinions, put forward scientific ideas based on pluralism, competitiveness of research schools and directions, scientific dialogue, attentive to the point of view of the opponent

- familiarization of readers with modern cases in the field of doing business in a competitive environment in various types of economic activity, with approaches to the development and revision of regulatory documents in the field of competition and entrepreneurship, as well as with modern educational practices in the field of competition and entrepreneurship training.

According to the decision of the Presidium of Supreme Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russian Federation No.6 dated February 19, 2010, “Journal of Modern Competition”  is included in the List of Leading Peer-Reviewed Scientific Journals and Publications authorized to publish main dissertation results.
