Author: I. Frolova

At the stage of transformation of the socio-economic sphere of society, an important task of the modern education system is the implementation of educational programs for entrepreneurial activities. The main actors in the implementation of such programs are national research universities, which are able to take responsibility for the formation of entrepreneurial competencies that influence the socialization and life strategies of student youth.

There is a result of the conducted research on the analysis of entrepreneurial curricula at the undergraduate and graduate level are indicated in the article. Entrepreneurship is the main vector of the global economy evolution throughout its long history. In the modern world, entrepreneurship has become a way of internationalization of social life, inter-ethnic and inter-cultural cooperation of people. Not in doubt, the key importance of entrepreneur-ship as a system-forming element of the modern Russian economy. However, entrepreneurship is still not recognized in Russia as a direction of socially useful activity of people and respected profession. There are several factors that limit the formation of positive images of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship in the minds of Russians and not allow you to put entrepreneurship on a par with other professions. The biggest problem in terms of rooting constructive ideas about modern entrepreneurship is the lack of a definition of specific items and objects of professional activity of entrepreneurs, the enterprise resources and business processes, the mission of the entrepreneurship in the Russian economy, the professional interests of entrepreneurs and the list of professional functions, that are the exclusive competency of the entrepreneurs.

Professional entrepreneurial competencies in the process of training students and students in Russian universities are still being formed, despite the fact that in most countries with developed and developing economies entrepreneurial education is a global trend. The results of the sociological survey show the relevance of the foundations of entrepreneurship among university students. In this connection, there is a need for the formation of entrepreneurial competencies both within the university and outside it. In the present article analyzes the current status of entrepreneurial competencies in Russia and the relationship between the level of their development with the quality of business activities and the state of business demography. It considers the characteristics of the mental attitude towards business and unequal distribution of public opinion on the regions in terms of development of entrepreneurial skills. Generalized tools and educational resources integrated development of entrepreneurial competences to educational institutions for different sectors of the economy. The conclusion is made that, despite the relatively short period of entrepreneurial activity in Russia, in the very near future the family business can become a key trend in the development of business activity, but for this the educational community must form all conditions and necessary entrepreneurial competencies.

The role of entrepreneurship in socio-economic life of the territory can not be overestimated. This flexible business solutions and innovative development, and solving the unemployment problem. Statistics unfortunately does not indicate the rapid growth of entrepreneurship in our country. It is difficult to say that the region is more valuable: a rich supply of natural resources or development of entrepreneurial potential. In this case, if the importance of the region for investment and resource base reads quite a lot, about the development of the entrepreneurial capacity to think much less common. Thus, we will try to find a solution to the problem by creating a system for developing entrepreneurial capacity in the region through the development of a modernization business space.

The curricular confusion between entrepreneurship education and small business management: a qualitative analysis1. The purpose of this chapter is to identify the common curricular practice of mixing and mismatching concepts and theories of small business and entrepreneurship based on the assumption that small business and entrepreneurship are coterminous phenomena. The discussion of this paper revolved around the question of clarifying and articulating the differences between pedagogy and curricula for steady state growth oriented small business owners and accelerated growth or scalable venture founders. The distinctiveness and overlap between steady state and accelerated growth entrepreneurs is relevant to academia, practitioners, and policy makers. We suggest 'entrepreneurship' is the art and science of taking the risk and action to create a venture and value for multiple constituents. Furthermore, we posit that it is the 'entrepreneur' that engages in 'entrepreneurship'. Moreover, entrepreneurs can be either founders of small business ventures (steady state growth aspirant) or scalable ventures (accelerated growth aspirant). Finally, while these two entrepreneurship paths (steady state versus accelerated growth) are divergent in nature they can be convergent (steady state growth morphs into a scalable accelerated venture and vice-versa), and they have different pedagogical and curricular needs.

Several studies have clearly demonstrated that entrepreneurial intentions are strongly influenced by education. What is more important, entrepreneurial intentions predict the actual entrepreneurial behavior. Thus, it is reasonable to believe that by stimulating intentions we encourage entrepreneur-ship. At the same time, universities play rather ambiguous and fragmented role in entrepreneurship, especially in Russian context. Further investigation is needed. The present research examines the impact of universities on the entrepreneurial intentions of Russian students. Using a sample of 2504 students from the GUESSS study, entrepreneurial intentions are found to be significantly associated with multiple components of the university entrepreneurial portfolio. The results of this study help better understand the structure of entrepreneurial portfolios of universities and its impact on the intentions. A greater emphasis on entrepreneurship in all universities may help balance the current individual initiatives and develop proactively a more relevant and comprehensive strategy.
