Resources of entrepreneurial competencies integrated development

Professional entrepreneurial competencies in the process of training students and students in Russian universities are still being formed, despite the fact that in most countries with developed and developing economies entrepreneurial education is a global trend. The results of the sociological survey show the relevance of the foundations of entrepreneurship among university students. In this connection, there is a need for the formation of entrepreneurial competencies both within the university and outside it. In the present article analyzes the current status of entrepreneurial competencies in Russia and the relationship between the level of their development with the quality of business activities and the state of business demography. It considers the characteristics of the mental attitude towards business and unequal distribution of public opinion on the regions in terms of development of entrepreneurial skills. Generalized tools and educational resources integrated development of entrepreneurial competences to educational institutions for different sectors of the economy. The conclusion is made that, despite the relatively short period of entrepreneurial activity in Russia, in the very near future the family business can become a key trend in the development of business activity, but for this the educational community must form all conditions and necessary entrepreneurial competencies.

Global Entrepreneurship in Motorsport as an Incentive to the Development of the National Automotive Industry

The article focuses on entrepreneurship internationalization phenomena that accompany global economic processes expressed in shaping of diverse cross-border corporations forms. Models and methods systematization of business internationalization is put forward, business internationalization levels are defined as in the case of a global company «Formula One», and its impact on the global motor vehicle development is considered. Interrelation of the countries hosting «Formula One» and the number of the cars manufactured is shown as well as nominal rate of gross domestic product. By means of scientific literature analysis concerning internationalization, the author brings into sharp focus the key reasons for business internationalization phenomena stepping up. For the first time in economic science «Formula One» is considered through the prism of international business and defined as a business structure which uses the eclectic model of Danning in the world market in the conditions of internationalization as it uses in its business activity specific advantages of itself and the owner; resources of national and local entrepreneurial structures in the field (the location of direct investment effect and internationalization advantage). It is revealed that, the so-called absolute advantage which is limited in international trade in uniqueness and originality of the product was the main reason for international company «Formula One» internationalization.

The formation of competencies in Russian motor sport sector as a boosting factor for social entrepreneurship

This article analyzes the current state of Russian motor sport through the prism of competencebased approach to the sports industry. Presents The results of author’s sociological surveys are presented, which, on the one hand, show the interest of young people to the emergence of schools for the training of qualified athletes; on the other hand — reflect the low public awareness of road competitions and, as a consequence, the lack of knowledge about competences in this industry. However, on the author’s deep belief, karting centres development in Russia on the basis of publicprivate partnership, introducing specialized courses to educational process of General, secondary and higher education could contribute to the achievement of social effect from the popularization of sport and, as a consequence, increase of sports results in the international field. From the point of view of the theory of entrepreneurship, this kind of action can contribute to social entrepreneurship development.

National business culture in Russia: institutional formation mechanisms

The article is devoted to the analysis of causes for low entrepreneurial activity in Russia and its limited growth rates. The authors note that this situation is also typical for other transition countries and it is connected with historical background and mental peculiarities the absence thereof adaptive entrepreneurial culture. There are certain tendencies in development of mental characteristics of modern Russian business connected with certain features of national business environment. Infrastructural constituents of external business environment mold those standards, norms, rules that characterize entrepreneurial culture shape. Modern economic environment demands maximum efficiency of infrastructure facilities use for business support as a an input tool for business activity development, creation of an assessment system for evaluating the impact of support institutions on shaping positive properties of business environment. This paper highlights systematizing of infrastructural instruments of business activity support upon criterion of an impact extent on entrepreneurial culture condition. To such criteria the authors refer the following: attitude toward property; resource management; attitude toward own and hired human capital; attitude toward income and principles of its distribution; attitude toward social corporate responsibility; implemented business ethics principles. As a result, the authors reveal correlation of institutional tools application principles for additive entrepreneurial culture formation at different lifecycle milestones.

Sports industry: state regulation, entrepreneurship or public-private partnership

The paper focuses on the authors’ views on the relevance of the state intervention the need for state intervention and regulation in the sport sector. Whereas modern sport is not only a social but also an economic phenomenon, its development, affects the interests of all socio-economic groups. To answer the question whether the state regulation in sport and in the sports industry is needed, the authors conducted a number of studies: comparative (other countries’ experience has been studied), economics and statistics (the analysis of statistical information has been carried out) and empirical (a public-opinion poll has been held). Drawing on the example of auto racing the features of the interaction between the public and private entities in the sports industry are demonstrated. The paper justifies the need of the state intervention in sports organizations performance by reference to the definitions of sport as business and physical activity and culture.

Business Ethics and Digital Economy Spirit

The paper focuses on ethical and moral issues of modern business activity in Russia in the interface between innovative economy and digital. The authors consider theoretical approaches to business ethics, investigate its major categories as an integral attribute of business and correlate them to a professional field of activity emphasizing relevance of research. The historical background is given, the main mental characteristics of Russian entrepreneurs in different epochs are featured and modern research views on business ethics essence are put forward. Such key categories of business ethics as «good», «evil», «justice», «honor», «dignity», «conscience», «obligation», «duty» are debated and it is emphasized that business ethics can be considered to be the instrument for successful business activity performance and reducing costs. Due to the transition from innovative economy to digital new kinds of social and economic interaction between people arise. The paper also represents the current situation in business activity issues all over the world and working out of a new international document MiFID II in particular. The authors’ findings on expectations of respect for norms of enterprise ethics by generation of Z are reflected. The authors draw a conclusion that giving accent to the main categories in business ethics subject matter is relevant and necessary for modern entrepreneur model shaping.

Competence-based characteristics of entrepreneurial labor as an asset for improving business unit competitiveness

In this paper the authors present an approach defining entrepreneurial labor as a specific type of highly intellectual activity in a context of risk and uncertainty, and aimed at creating benefits case for both owners and employees and the state at large. This author's approach is mandated by the fact that business entities, especially representatives of small businesses and self-employed citizens exercise significant number of entrepreneurial functions. As a result of their practical evaluation in the cause of real business activities, the owner of business reaches the state of absolute “competence”. The authors reason of the quality and progress of entrepreneurial labor as an activity that reflects the professional entrepreneurial and managerial competencies of a business owner. A matrix of self-employed citizen competencies was created through the prism of specific competencies set at strategic, tactical and situational levels of business management, as well as depending on the competitive position of the entrepreneur in the market. Ultimately, in the opinion of the authors, professional work, professional entrepreneurial and management competencies should be based on the concept of «professional talentism». This will enhance competitive advantage of a business unit.

Counterparty risks of sports industry international business structures and national economic systems

The article deals with the business risks arising in economic relations of stakeholders in sports industry. The author makes a conclusion that the industry is characterized by risks arising both within economic entities and in their relationships in the external environment. Especially if these relations arise in the international arena. The example of the global company Formula One shows that the management of such companies uses a cognitive approach to risk management. So, possible reasons for political risks can be negative for this business political actions. Moreover, international activity leads both sides to a balance of national and business interests. Economic risks are the risk of non-return on investment in the project. On the example of the race track “Sochi Autodrom” the article analyzes positive and negative cash flows of the project and concludes that the project is a classic macroeconomic case with a long-term return on investment.

Entrepreneurial risks in the conditions of economy digitalization o as exemplified by Russia

Digital transformation in entrepreneurship is gaining momentum more and more. Entrepreneurship philosophy defines how we perceive digitalization: either as technology or as a new model of doing business. Global business development strategies depend on this. As a discussion issue, this study proposes to discuss not only opportunities, but also risks and threats of digitalization, with prospects of neutralizing the latter. The study of the authors is aimed at identifying the abilities of beginners and future entrepreneurs to transform entrepreneurial thinking, arguments reflecting positive and critical attitude to business transformation.The results of the study show that future specialists are ready to transform and adjust to digital progress. However, there are factors that require changes in digitalization (high costs of robotics, substitution of true digitalization with false digitalization, cyber bullying, lack of digital culture, and others).
