Industry market

In the framework of this scientific article, the investment attractiveness of the deposit products of a commercial bank is analyzed in the context of ensuring the proper level of competitive advantages of the bank. The author’s model for assessing the investment attractiveness of a commercial bank from the point of view of private and institutional investors is being formed. This model is being tested with respect to the comparative characteristics of three commercial banks of the Russian Federation. Research disclose the relationship between the categories of bank competitiveness and investment attractiveness of the bank in the potential system of a commercial bank.

The article presents a consistent procedure for the analysis of barriers in order to assess the degree of impact and the size of barriers to entry as part of the competition assessment. Practical features of application of the presented procedure on the commodity market of mineral (nitrogen) fertilizers of the Republic of Kazakhstan are defined. A qualitative analysis of barriers to entry into the nitrogen fertilizer market identified and assessed the impact of entry barriers on the market, as well as on the related mixed fertilizer market and the interrelated agricultural market. The assessment procedure revealed problems for agricultural producers and State actions to support economic agents in the markets of the agricultural complex, including those which contribute to barriers to entry into various markets for nitrogen mineral fertilizers in industry value chains. The need for an in-depth assessment with quantitative analysis has also been identified, which will provide a detailed set of measures to reduce or remove barriers to the nitrogen fertilizer market in Kazakhstan.

The article considers the current state of socio-economic security of Russian dairy industry enterprises: diagnostic methods, development forecast. It is shown that the components of the social and economic security system are interconnected and have a consistent effect on each other. The result of the activities of economic entities is the satisfaction of the population with appropriate quality products in sufficient quantities. Therefore, it is necessary to achieve maximum protection of all stages of the reproduction process. To ensure a steady state socio - economic security of the dairy industry, Russia needs financial and administrative resources of the country to increase production of raw milk products, availability of these products for the population in the required quantities.

The article is devoted to the problem of forecasting the dynamics of working capital as a method of increasing the competitiveness of a company and its innovative development. The author considers what the infrastructure of innovative development is, gives a new definition of what specifically relates to the financial infrastructure of innovative development, how it affects innovative development. The method and research method of forecasting is applied. Forecasting is considered as a method of innovative development. New coefficients are given: the forecast coefficient for the turnover of active current assets, the forecast coefficient for the turnover of assets, the forecast coefficient for the turnover of current assets, the forecast ratio for the liquidity of current assets, the forecast ratio for the turnover of borrowed funds, the turnover ratio for current assets, the ratio the turnover of borrowed capital, the forecast coefficient of liquidity of the turnover of assets, the forecast coefficient of liquidity of the turnover of working capital, the forecast coefficient of active capital formation, the working capital ratio, the capital adequacy ratio. All these ratios characterize the financial and economic condition, assets of the enterprise, their ability to sell assets, raise the assessment of the state of the assets of the enterprise.

There are several equally important properties and factors that should be evaluated to decide on the market power and monopoly power of the digital platform.The article discusses examples of digital platforms - taxi aggregators and messengers, demonstrating various internal and external factors that are limiting the market power of digital platforms.First of all, the situation with taxi aggregators is considered, using the example of the industry leader - Uber - the platform leading in several countries stably brings only losses to investors. This example reveals the internal factors that limit market power.The following is an example of instant messengers and Twitter, which are faced with external restrictions on the market power of platforms.The listed internal and external factors limiting the market power of digital platforms is recommended to be investigated when analyzing and assessing the level of competition in the markets and deciding whether the digital platform occupies a dominant position in the industry market.

This article discusses such a popular concept in Russian HR management as staff loyalty, explores the theoretical and applied issues of this definition. The aim of this work is to study the characteristics of employee loyalty management in the personnel management system of modern Russian organizations. The tasks are to determine the relationship between the level of staff loyalty and the level of efficiency, and, consequently, business competitiveness.The significance and relevance of the research topic is due to the fact that in the modern Russian economy, in the face of increased competition and the negative impact of the global financial crisis, the emergence of the COVID-19 virus, sanction pressure on the Russian economy, negative trends are observed associated with a decline in company income. In turn, the successful functioning and competitiveness of an organization largely depends on the interest of employees in effective activities and the level of their loyalty to the company.In the framework of this work, the most urgent problems of the formation and development of personnel loyalty for Russian companies in the current situation are identified. Factors that affect the level of loyalty of the organization's personnel are substantiated.In conclusion, the directions for increasing staff loyalty are formulated and an economic justification of the costs for the formation and maintenance of company personnel loyalty is given.

Entrepreneurship theory

The propensity for entrepreneurship is personal creativity, it is a certain way of life, it is a parenting strategy, it is a character trait. As a rule, these and other necessary qualities are laid down from childhood. What abilities can be considered «entrepreneurial»? The article discusses the theoretical and empirical aspects of studying the psychology of entrepreneurship in Russia; data on the psychological characteristics of the personality and activities of a Russian businessman are presented, obtained by scientists in different years. The results of a pilot study of the socio-psychological characteristics of entrepreneurs in their connection with the mechanisms of influence on business activity, strategies of behavior in a competitive environment, business motivation and a value system are presented. A model for the development of psychological tools for diagnosing a propensity for entrepreneurial activity in adolescents is presented.

Antitrust regulation

The article deals with the issues of permissibility of market regulators ‘ intrusion into the system of functioning of markets , measures and limits of potential support for market agents of national economies, as well as the limits and permissibility of loyalty to the implementation of the values of competition law in the conditions of the exogenous shock of the COVID-19 pandemic and the post-recovery period. Rapid response measures are identified and summarized in cases of predatory pricing, coordinated policies, mergers, and government assistance. Prospects for the transformation of certain antitrust regulations, including methodological formalization of permissive provisions and rules for the admissibility of anti-competitive manifestations, as well as the determinants of proving monopolistically high prices or violations of the pricing procedure, are outlined. The summary presented by the author reflects not only the scientific controversy, but also the range of broad public discussion of market regulators, business associations and communities on competition issues during the pandemic period in March-April 2020

National competitiveness

In this paper, we publish the results of a study of the US economy interconnections, using network analysis. The study is based on modern and classic scientific papers on cross-sectoral and network economic analysis, as well as on the official statistics published in the USA. The purpose of the study is to identify those industries where economic shocks will have the greatest impact on the entire US economic system. The work is equipped with the necessary general theoretical information and a description of the research methodology. In the course of the study, were analyzed different in composition and number groups of sectors of the US economy and were constructed the graphs reflecting the structure of the industries network interaction in each of the considered groups. There is also made the calculations of various numerical values of the centrality of networks for each of the studied groups of US industries. For each of the numerical values of centrality of the used network are given the necessary explanations. The study shows the industry leaders for each of the calculated centrality values of the network for each of the studied groups of the US industries for which calculations were carried out. The obtained results were evaluated and interpreted to the required extent. In addition, the obtained data of the values of the centrality of economic networks were compared with indicators of real value added by sectors of the economy. During the study and in its results, a number of different conclusions were formulated, which are also sequentially presented in the text of this publication, including all the necessary comments and explanations. In particular, it has been shown that the most “central” sector of the US economy is “transportation and warehousing”.

Level playing field and meaningful cooperation between the state and society is one of the important conditions for the sustainable economic development of the country. In this regard, public- private partnership (PPP) projects are one of the topical subject in contemporary economic life of the country. International practices prove the fact of feasibility of such projects and attracting real extrabudgetary resource, and improving the efficiency of the country ‘s economy as a whole. Despite the advantages of PPP projects for both government and private businesses, some disadvantages have been identified that may cause some complexity in the implementation of these projects. But in any case, PPP projects are an excellent opportunity to bring the private sector into the state ‘s area of responsibility. These projects can also be considered as a tool to support business activities. Proposals are made to increase the attractiveness of PPP projects for private business. The need to carry out structural changes in state authorities, which will be aimed at the implementation of entrepreneurial projects with the introduction of public-private partnership mechanisms, is stressed.
