Industry market

The article describes the results of the research on the phenomenon of the effective competition in the Russian insurance market. The theory of the effective competition of Y. Shumpeter formed a methodological basis of the work. U. Sheferd's technical calculation and other foreign and domestic researchers have been used. The analysis of the standard criteria of the effective competition in relation to insurance branch has revealed their incorrectness. The received results allowed to develop approaches to definition of branch criteria for the insurance market.

Rapid development of markets for experience and credence goods in XXI century has not yet been analyzed in Russian academical literature. Meanwhile these markets has institutionalized and changed organizational structure and rules of some markets, for instance, private tutors market (internet site www.repetitors.info) and home-rent market (internet site www.airbnb.com). In this article I analyze internet markets in context of assymetric information and adverse selection, comparing them to offline markets. Key thesis is that online markets without reputational mechanisms are less efficient compare to offline markets. I consider list of recent research of reputation on online markets which offer different mechanisms to avoid adverse selection on internet. I compare social interactions of consumers and web 2.0 (user-generated content) instruments. I conclude that online markets should help seller of experience good (or service) to build his reputation through stimulating his consumers to share information in their social accounts. In conclusion I suggest more directions for deeper analysis of these phenomena.

In article various aspects of the analysis of efficiency of a competition policy are considered. It is noted that now the system analysis in this relation isn't carried out, available estimates suffer discrepancy, lack of completeness and low degree of reliability. Is shown that as it stands the competition policy on the basis of application of the antitrust law in its protective option can formally lead to decrease in values of criteria of efficiency in the form of indicators of economic concentration on the basis of what need of its transformation in the direction of giving of more active character locates.

The paper analyzes the competitiveness of Russia on the basis of rankings of global competitiveness, indicated its competitive advantage and the main problems, holding the process of increasing competitiveness. The study identifies the main directions of increasing competitiveness of Russia in the international economy.

Competitiveness of business

The article presents the analysis results of the level of partners' loyalty in the software product' distribution chain on the example of a leading company-manufacturer website content management systems. For the report the technique of «mystery shopper» was used, combining the methods of observation and interviewing. The authors developed recommendations for the use of instruments of marketing management to increase the loyalty of partners, directly affecting the sales of the product and competitiveness of producer. Marketing research, represented in this paper, was done on the basis of «Mystery shopping» method, including survey and observation methods. Received results will help the providers of CMS obtain and hold their competitive position at the Russian growing IT market.

Competition in the labor market takes place between employees for jobs and positions, between employers for good employees, between employers and employees for employment conditions. The article analyzes the factors influencing the competitiveness of employees and workplaces. The author shows that the competitive position of employees is significantly weaker especially in the private sector.

In the article the author examines the problems of the analysis of competitiveness of business of state enterprises on the basis of the monetary approach to decision-making. The author defines the features and factors affecting the cost and competitiveness of national unitary enterprises and stakes in the authorized capital of economic societies belonging to the state, and to elaborate proposals for the criteria of evaluation of the competitiveness of enterprises with the state share.

The article is devoted to the notion «collective dominance» with regard to administrative offence «abuse of a dominant position». The author gives a legal characterization of the term, analyses the judicial practice. Then the article contains opinions of famous scientists who deal with the issue. In addition the author offers own understanding of «collective dominance» and proposes some change in the law.

Competitive strategy

This paper is devoted to the analysis of mergers and acquisitions in Russia. Using the statistical and econometric methods the estimation of macroeconomic and industry factors influence on the intensity of mergers and acquisitions processes by sectors of Russian industry is carried out. As a result the relationship between the activity of the redistribution process of the corporate control rights and some industry characteristics such as an involvement into the foreign trade, the relative industry size, the concentration of production is revealed.

The main goal of the re¬search is to develop a theoretical and methodological approaches that help companies to make effective strategic decisions for internationalization of their business. The research is based on the analysis of the Dunning FDI Theory that is expanded to other possible types of foreign market entry modes.
