Increasing the Competitiveness of Enterprises Producing Large-scale PolymersThe article examines the main trends in the innovative development of enterprises in the chemical and petrochemical industries, which made it possible to determine their role in increasing the competitiveness of enterprises in other sectors of the economy of the Russian Federation. Examples of import-substituting innovations in the industry are given. Using the example of the large-capacity polymer market, the main threats to ensuring the competitive sustainability of these enterprises have been identified. As a result, the relevance of the scientific task of developing existing models of organizational and economic interaction between participants in the production and supply chain of chemical products to increase its competitiveness in domestic and foreign markets based on the implementation of innovative processes is substantiated. A model for using the results of innovative activities in the market of large-scale polymers is proposed, which, unlike well-known models, involves the creation of a hierarchical system of local collaborations focused on the implementation of innovative processes in order to increase the competitiveness of manufactured products at various stages. The proposed approach to managing innovation activities at large enterprises producing large-scale polymers will make it possible to develop solutions for using the results of innovation activities, which can be extended to tens or even hundreds of small companies operating in the markets of the next processing stage. Such decisions included solutions for the entire chain of production and use of products, such as pre- and post-sale service, PR campaigns to promote results, collaboration with other industry players at the early stage of innovation development, and influence on regulators. The practical implementation of the developed model will help ensure the competitive sustainability of enterprises of the petrochemical complex of the Russian Federation in the context of modern challenges. Formation of Personnel Potential of Chemical Enterprises Using Multi-Stage Mechanism of Target Set of Applicants of UniversitiesThe article is devoted to the study of the mechanisms for the formation of human resources at chemical industry enterprises using a targeted training system. The growing need for qualified specialists at industry enterprises indicates the need to use effective methods of personnel selection. The article substantiates the need to improve the existing targeted training system based on the analysis of statistical data for 2020–2024, demonstrating its low efficiency. The authors conducted a comprehensive analysis, consisting of statistical processing of data on admission to targeted training in higher education institutions for 2019–2024, as well as a systemic analysis of the regulatory framework and existing research by the authors on this topic. In particular, the process of implementing the approach of targeted training of specialists for chemical industry enterprises was considered, because of which problems were identified that hinder its effective implementation. In accordance with the above, consideration of possible ways to improve the effectiveness of the targeted training system is an urgent scientific and practical task. The novelty of the study lies in the development of a mechanism for organizing multi-stage interaction between chemical enterprises and potential employees, considering the environmental aspects of working and living conditions. As a result of the study, a mechanism for targeted training was proposed, which provides for the creation of research and production centers at universities as a link between educational institutions and enterprises. It is noted that this approach provides an opportunity for step-by-step interaction of future specialists with working conditions at the enterprise and in the industry as a whole and creates conditions for the implementation of environmental innovations. The theoretical significance of the study lies in the development of scientific ideas about the organization of the process of targeted training, considering the specifics of the chemical industry. The practical value of the study is determined by the possibility of using the developed mechanism to improve the efficiency of personnel training in the industry using the advantages of targeted training, which will contribute to the growth of the competitiveness of chemical enterprises and the improvement of the industry.
