Formation of a Competitive Environment in the Market of Electronic Payment Systems

The relevance of the study of the formation of a competitive environment in the payment systems market is due to the current oligopoly of foreign payment systems. The everyday economic life of society is directly relate to the use of money and is determine by the need to consider the issues of using payment systems on the territory of the Russian Federation as a whole and assess the level and problems of their development during the period of digital transformation. The purpose of the study is to explore the Russian market of payment systems that can compete with foreign counterparts. The main task is to study the payment systems used in the Russian market and develop recommendations for promoting the national payment system MIR, as an alternative payment system Visa and Masterсard. In the course of the study, general scientific methods (analysis and synthesis, comparison) and special methods (statistical and economic analysis) were used. The article analyzed business models of electronic payment systems and the structure of cash flows for cashless payments. Three options for the implementation of transactions are considered: with foreign Visa and Masterсard, the Russian MIR card and using the Fast payment system (FPS). The advantages and disadvantages of the MIR payment card in comparison with Visa and Masterсard were analyzed. The significance of national digital currencies and their relationship with payment systems were investigated. As the results of the study, methods of struggle of domestic marketplaces with the oligopoly of foreign payment systems were identified. Based on the conducted competitive analysis of the Russian MIR card, measures were proposed to improve the development of Russian payment systems as a whole in order to popularize them among economic agents of the Russian Federation. Analysis of the Competitive Environment in the Electronics Market: the Global Crisis of the Semiconductor Industry and Global Development Trends

The relevance of the study lies in the large-scale and progressive impact of the shortage in the semiconductor market on the key industries of modern electronics production. Currently, the production of microchips shows the highest growth rates, the sphere is directly associated with the fourth industrial revolution, so leading manufacturers are actively seeking either to increase market share or to gain leadership altogether. As a result, competition is intensifying both between individual companies and between countries. The purpose of the study is to determine the degree of influence of the shortage of semiconductors on the final cost of goods based on microchips. The main task is to analyze the dependence of the cost of video cards on the cryptocurrency exchange rate, the growth in demand for the extraction of which is one of the factors that influenced the semiconductor crisis. The article analyzes the current state of the semiconductor industry market, describes the key players, manufactured products by type. The chronology of events that led to the shortage of microchips – the main basis for any modern electronics – has been built. The article describes the main affected industries from the crisis in the semiconductor market, analyzes the consequences in quantitative and qualitative terms. Conclusions are drawn about the global role of cryptocurrency mining in the progressive shortage of microchips. In the course of the study, general scientific methods were applied, such as analysis, synthesis, comparison, as well as special methods (statistical-economic and econometric analysis). A paired linear regression model is constructed to identify the relationship between the Bitcoin exchange rate and the cost of popular video card models. As a result of the study, the relationship between the cryptocurrency exchange rate and the price of video cards was determined, and the stock index of the semiconductor industry was analyzed. Competitive Intelligence as a Tool for Achieving Economic Security of an Organization

The relevance of the study lies in the ever-increasing level of competition in the global economy, which implies a global revision by the management of organizations of general approaches to the analysis of interaction with the external environment. At present, despite the general decline in the main macroeconomic indicators of the world economy, most organizations note that they feel an increasing level of competitive pressure, which, along with increased turbulence in the global economy, can lead the organization to severe financial consequences up to bankruptcy. In order to minimize such a negative impact, organizations should constantly take into account the influence of a constantly changing external environment in the process of strategic planning of their activities, for which it is advisable to conduct competitive intelligence as a tool to ensure the stability of the organization’s functioning. The purpose of the study is to determine the main economic prerequisites for conducting competitive intelligence in an organization and to analyze the dependence of the organization’s performance indicators on the introduction of competitive intelligence practices. The main objective is to develop recommendations for the implementation of competitive intelligence in the organization. The article pays special attention to the analysis of the global economic situation in recent years, characterizes a systematic approach to management as an element that allows you to fully build the organization’s activities depending on the influence of the external environment, draws up conclusions about the main problems of introducing the practice of competitive intelligence at the present stage. Internet Marketing as a Technology for Achieving the Competitiveness of a Modern Company in the Conditions of Digitalization of the Economy

The widespread introduction of Internet technologies, the digitalization of the economy have led to a change in the economic behavior of consumers, and online commerce as a new direction for the promotion of goods and services has acquired special importance. It is now much easier and more convenient for consumers to choose a product or service (if there is a computer connected to the Internet). In such conditions, the problem arises of the need to study individual Internet marketing tools and the possibility of their use by companies in order to improve the policy of promoting goods and services and expanding sales markets. In the article, the authors aimed to identify certain aspects of Internet marketing and its tools as a competitive advantage for modern companies using this tool to promote goods and services in certain market segments. The research methodology based on the principle of the dialectical method of cognition, which makes it possible to reveal the logic of the development of the economic system. Within its framework, the following methods were used: monographic (in order to review the development of Internet marketing issues), comparative analysis (when characterizing traditional and Internet marketing), graphical and tabular methods of presenting information (for a more detailed illustration of the material presented). Using the method of abstraction, the advantages and disadvantages of the main Internet marketing tools were identified. Application of Innovative Approaches in Сrisis Management of Internet Platforms

The article is devoted to the study of innovative methods of crisis management of Internet platforms, which are becoming an important component of the modern economic environment. In the course of the research, various methods of analysis are used, including a detailed examination of modern crisis management strategies and an analysis of successful cases of integration of innovations into Internet platforms. The obtained results emphasize the importance of innovative approaches for effectively overcoming crisis situations and ensuring the sustainability of Internet platforms, and the analysis of practical examples shows that innovations contribute to improving competitiveness, optimizing user experience and increasing the financial performance of Internet platforms. The results of the study emphasize the importance of innovation for crisis management of Internet platforms, which also defines the main aspects of the theory, including the core and protective shell, and also shows the possibilities of its transformation based on the integration of the principles of the theories of disruptive innovation by K. Christensen and technological revolutions by K. Perez. The study demonstrates that changing the protective shell of the theory of crisis management under the influence of institutional changes caused by technological transformations is an important element of successful crisis management of Internet platforms. Thus, this article provides valuable practical recommendations and contributes to the expansion of the theory of crisis management of Internet platforms.
