Developed market regulation at the macro-level: an invisible hand, competition and the system requirements

The main problems the economists are facing now are basically the same Adam Smith used to face 200 years ago. What is more, there are no breakthroughs in terms of their solving. This is the traditionalistic point of view upon the economic theory. The point was formulated by M. Friedman, a Nobel Prize winner, and it is appropriate to compare the economic concept and the modern physics concepts. According to R. Heilbroner, the economic systems which are a subject matter of economics, have a lot in common with the physics systems studied today.

Differentiation between competition and «invisible hand» as economic regulators of developed markets

In the article the author carries out a deep analysis of the two fundamental economic categories: the invisible hand» of the market and competition, — thus accentuating the problems of intercon¬nection between micro- and macroeconomies, competitors' and public convergence of economic interests. Arguing for the differentiation between the invisible hand» of the market as a macroregulator of economy and competition as a regulator of economic relations on the microlevel, the author defines the invisible hand» of the market as a competition-independent data structure that gives macrodata saturation to a competitive mechanism.

Spiritual foundations of a competitive economic system: outlines of the problem

The article deals with the nature and content of the entrepreneurial spirit of capitalism, and its influ¬ence on the formation and development of the capitalist system of XX-XXI centuries. The author, relying on the work of Max Weber, reveals the religious, educational, social and genetic back¬ground of phenomena of entrepreneurship and competition, and also explains how the Spirit of Capi¬talism connects and harmonizes opposed economic interests of the subjects of the capitalist system. The paper presents an attempt to combine Weber's theory of capitalist spirit with a basis of Marx's economic doctrine.

The article deals with the nature and content of the entrepreneurial spirit of capitalism, and its influence on the formation and development of the capitalist system of XX – XXI centuries. The paper presents an attempt to combine the views of Max Weber on capitalism spirit with the basic concepts of economic doctrines of Karl Marx, as well as disclosed problems of formation of market capitalist spirit of the Russian economy and its competitiveness.
